Introduction of Venture Partners

In 2016, Vitality Capital was formed with a mission to identify and support entrepreneurs who share a similar drive to build and succceed. Joining alongside the team to accomplish this goal, we are pleased to announce the addition of three venture partners, Anthony Lipkin, Derek Szeto, Adam Levine and legal counsel, Hartley Lefton to the team. The addition of these venture partners will expand our capacity to accelerate our portfolio companies and provide our entrepreneurs with the support to build a successful venture.

Anthony Lipkin is currently leading business development, strategic partnerships, and marketing at Intersect. In his past life, he was a founding partner of Dx3 where he lead growth, content, and operational improvement and spent countless hours engaging with Fortune 500 executives on digital and product challenges. Having been involved in two different acquisitions (Dx3 by IoT Events, Intersect by Symbility), Anthony shares his experiences by advising and mentoring startup founders.

Derek Szeto founded and built RedFlagDeals into Canada’s largest online promotions and shopping tool before selling to Yellow Pages in 2010. An entrepreneur at heart, he went out to build Wirkn as a co-founder and CEO in 2014 and Butter (RBC Ventures Company) in 2018. Involved with numerous startups, both as an advisor and angel investor, Derek brings a breadth of business, product and technology experience to our entrepreneurs here at Vitality Capital.

Adam Levine began his career in successful technology companies with roles spanning growth, sales, and business development at Research in Motion, SalesForce and most recently as head of revenue at StackAdapt. Adam oversaw all customer facing operations at StackAdapt and achieved consecutive 100% y/y growth.  As an active advisor and investor to founders, Adam will be using his experiences to advise our portfolio companies in all aspects of growth and sales.

A partner at Denton’s Corporate group in Toronto, Hartley Lefton is a member of the firm’s banking and finance, insurance, venture technology and emerging growth companies sub groups. Having acted for multiple groups in billion-dollar transactions and an honorary recipient of Lexpert’s 2018 “Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40” award, Hartley will be using his expertise to help advise our fund and founders in navigating the legal environment.

Our partners have demonstrated a strong track record throughout their careers and are committed to supporting the outstanding entrepreneurs we back. Vitality Capital hopes to continue to grow alongside our founders.
